What We Believe
God We believe God is eternal, omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent and able to do anything. God is love and his love has the power to transform. Ps 24:1, 90:1, Gen 18:14, Mt 19:26

Jesus We believe that Jesus is God come to us in the flesh and that through faith in his finished work on the cross, man is able to live a life of holiness. John 1:1-3, Mt 1:23 1 Tim 3:16

The Holy Spirit We believe the Holy Spirit is the spirit of God promised by Christ to all his followers as a guide, a witness, a helper and the power within us to live holy, godly and soberly in this present world. Acts 1:8, John 14:26

The Word of God. We believe the bible to be the written word of God containing rhema. We believe the entire canon of scripture to be complete and sufficient for all believers to follow, trust and obey as it is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting and for training in righteousness. 2 Tim 3:16

Sin We believe sin, as defined in the original translations of the Bible, means to “miss the mark.” The mark in this case is the high standard of perfection established by a holy, sinless, and perfect God and then evidenced by Jesus (Hebrews 4:15). Sin, then, as a universal condition of humanity, is a transgression of God’s standards whether intentional, unintentional, consensual, nonconsensual, by commission or omission; whether in thought, word or deed. 1 John 3:4

Justification by Faith We believe that a person is justified only by faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that justification removes the guilt of sin and places one in right standing with God. Romans 5:1

Redemption We believe redemption is beginning event of the spiritual metamorphsis of the sinner. Redemption (from sin) is made possible only through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Eph 1:7

Repentance we believe that since all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, all must repent of their sins to enter into the kingdom of heaven. We believe no one is exempt because all humans carry the sin gene and refusal or failure to repent (acknowledge and turn away from) of one's sins will exclude one from life in the kingdom of God. Mark 1:15, Acts 2:38, 2 Cor 7:10

The Application of Grace. We believe in the grace of God, a totally unmerited favor of change. Grace is the gift of God for those who sin under the new covenant (Rmns 6:1). Titus 2:11 shows us that grace must be treated with a seriousness both as a reacher and a teacher.

The equality of the Believer we believe that every believer in Christ is equal based on the new birth. We are reborn into the family of God as sons, heirs and joint heirs with Christ Jesus. We are one body of many equal members to accomplish one purpose. Our equal standing with God is based on  the common bonds of brotherhood and servanthood. 1 Cor 12:12-27; Eph 4:4-5

The Nevertheless Principle We believe that the "Nevertheless Principle" should be the resolution of all believers. Our example of living a nevertheless life is exemplified by Jesus Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane as he moved from a "whosoever" position to the divine unction of "nevertheless".  A nevertheless principle is one which reveals a maturity in the believer's understanding and acceptance of the will of God. Lk 22:42

Worship We believe that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are worthy to be worshipped. Worship is defined by God as a condition of relationship whereby man experiences intimacy with God. John 4:23

Evangelism We believe evangelism is our intentional spreading of the good news fulfilling the will and command of Christ. Mt 15:15-16, Isaiah 6:8

Sexual holiness is the expressed will of God for all of his obedient children. Sexual holiness is the diligence to "possess our bodies in sanctification and honor" abstaining from all forms of sexual immorality. 1 Thess 4:1-7
